What does the moon represent?
The moon is a feminine symbol, universally representing the rhythm of time as it embodies the cycle. The phases of the moon symbolize immortality and eternity, enlightenment or the dark side of Nature herself.

I’ve known where I’ve needed to go.  But some things don’t come easy and I don’t know why that is.  What I do know is that  watching shows about animals are surprisingly calming.  Ever watch a mass of flamingos wading in the African Great Rift?  It totally chills you out.  Plus the endless pink is pretty cool to.
Ok, another thing I do know, is when you have a rift in your heart, things don’t come easy.  The open space feels endless and all you feel is the endless pain.  The Great Rift runs through the Red Sea.  The Red Sea is a seawater inlet of the Indian Ocean, lying between Africa and Asia.
Ever feel stretched so thin and far apart it could cause have caused a rift in your heart.  “The Rift Valley, is often said to be the cradle of humanity.  According to one theory, the Rift Valley itself triggered man’s evolution.  Rifting led to frequent climactic and geological change, which forced early hominids to adapt.” ~NGWild
As they adapted to to their changing environments, they thrived.   Am I able to do this?
It is something I have thought of for many days.  How have we let circumstances of life tear us from ourselves, one another?  Hoping one day something else will take it’s place.
Allowing the wrong things fill the space.  When the right things were present all along.  Waiting for me to surrender into and cleanse away the notions of an old life.
As I ran towards the sea I BELIEVE in the power to mend something that is torn.  I finally SEA.

The Other Side Of Everything

What If~Photo by Trupti
“You can’t cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water.”  ~ Rabindranath Tagore
So true.  What holds us back in certain situations while in others we are fearless?  Is it that we are comfortable.  What if it’s because when life settles like the calmness of the sea, we don’t want cast out ripples which could drudge up sediment from the past.  What if it’s being riddled with anxiety, of the unknown, and wondering if taking a risk would be better for us than where we are right now.  What if there are more challenges and pain in crossing those waters?
For me, all these impediments have been strong.
Fortunately, without risk there is often no reward.  Dreaming can keep your drive alive but it’s taking action, execution…which keeps your spirit alive.
Dare to say what if.  The other side of everything waits for you.

noun
3.  an additional quantity, amount, or number
4. (used with a plural verb ) a greater number of a class specified
5.  a greater quantity, amount, or degree
6.  something of greater importance
In my reflection of past moments in my life, I can recall this has been the mission.  To obtain it and have an abundance of it.  “It” was the goal.  Get to one finish line and create another.  Why?  That was what I thought was the plan.
With a new finish line, preparation and planning (of course) were needed.  Only this was not where I was focused.  It was motivated by another sort of fulfillment and this continues to be so.
A fulfillment which didn’t, doesn’t cross anything off a list, other than the want in my heart.
There are times when you have to listen to something other than the voices which speak to you from the outside.
When it comes to listening from the inside, it’s usually only one voice which matters.  YOURS.  MINE.
As I have progressed in my years, I have SEEn how this voice is harder to come by and never of more greater importance.

Nobody gets too much heaven no more
It’s much harder to come by
I’m waiting in line
Nobody gets too much love anymore
It’s as high as a mountain
And harder to climb

Oh you and me girl
Got a lot of love in store
And it flows through you
And it flows through me
And I love you so much more
Than my life…I can see beyond forever
Ev’rything we are will never die
Loving’s such a beautiful thing
Oh you make my world..a summer day
Are you just a dream to fade away

Nobody gets too much heaven no more
It’s much harder to come by
I’m waiting in line
Nobody gets too much love anymore
It’s as high as a mountain
And harder to climb

You and me girl got a highway to the sky
We can turn away from the night and day
And the tears you had to cry
You’re my life…
I can see a new tomorrow
Ev’rything we are will never die
Loving’s such a beautiful thing
When you are to me, the light above
Made for all to see our precious love

Nobody gets too much heaven no more
It’s much harder to come by
I’m waiting in line
Nobody gets too much love anymore
It’s as high as a mountain
And harder to climb

Love is such a beautiful thing
You make my world a summer day
Are you just a dream to fade away

Nobody gets too much heaven no more
It’s much harder to come by
I’m waiting in line
Nobody gets too much love anymore
It’s as wide as a river and harder to cross

Nobody gets too much heaven no more
It’s much harder to come by
I’m waiting in line
Nobody gets too much love anymore
It’s as high as a mountain
And harder to climb

They Wait For Us

word
noun
1.  a unit of language, consisting of one or more spoken sounds or their written representation, that functions as a principal carrier of meaning. Words are composed of one or more morphemes and are either the smallest units susceptible of independent use or consist of two or three such units combined under certain linking conditions
Every day they come to us, our lips, minds, and hearts.
They release us from the past.  Capture us in the present.  Potentially imprisoning us of future.
Ultimately giving us the choice to follow a different pathway.  To risk, soar, fly.
They wait for us to free ourselves into the light and take the helm of our destiny.
Our true story.

What do you love?  What would existence be in absence of this love?  Have you thought about it?
I have.
It’s a world unimaginable to me but one day it could be.  And because of this moment of knowing, I want to nurture, encourage, and immerse into it fully.  Losing myself in it’s measured composition.  Each lyric resonating the current it sails through me.
Without the words, there is no song…without you, there is no me.
