I’ve known where I’ve needed to go.  But some things don’t come easy and I don’t know why that is.  What I do know is that  watching shows about animals are surprisingly calming.  Ever watch a mass of flamingos wading in the African Great Rift?  It totally chills you out.  Plus the endless pink is pretty cool to.
Ok, another thing I do know, is when you have a rift in your heart, things don’t come easy.  The open space feels endless and all you feel is the endless pain.  The Great Rift runs through the Red Sea.  The Red Sea is a seawater inlet of the Indian Ocean, lying between Africa and Asia.
Ever feel stretched so thin and far apart it could cause have caused a rift in your heart.  “The Rift Valley, is often said to be the cradle of humanity.  According to one theory, the Rift Valley itself triggered man’s evolution.  Rifting led to frequent climactic and geological change, which forced early hominids to adapt.” ~NGWild
As they adapted to to their changing environments, they thrived.   Am I able to do this?
It is something I have thought of for many days.  How have we let circumstances of life tear us from ourselves, one another?  Hoping one day something else will take it’s place.
Allowing the wrong things fill the space.  When the right things were present all along.  Waiting for me to surrender into and cleanse away the notions of an old life.
As I ran towards the sea I BELIEVE in the power to mend something that is torn.  I finally SEA.
